My sister, wife, and and very good friend stopped here to eat after seeing Manatees and the Seal Museum. We had antipasto salad, pizza, mussels, and cannolis. Everything was delicious. Ashley was the young lady who took care of us. Her quick wit and cheerfulness really added to our evening.

Noted warn inside A/C said 81 and 77 on the other unit. Will up date as it goes. Well review is in . Food came out hot and tasty. No issues. Would come again. Service was good. Large portion. Ask for child portion on spaghetti .

Ok im not really all into carbs so you will never see me ordering a pizza but the greek salad is delicious. The food seems to be great. The place looks like shit on the inside and seems very very dirty and the owner or the manager is a asshole.

To be honest...I am cool on this place. Pizza was kind of bland. Not really good, not bad...just ok!! It was empty when we went in on a weekday evening...I was seriously underwhelmed.

Just picked up to-go red clamp pasta and is the best I ever had. The chef was awesome and stayed open late to cook and definitely had the Italian mafia thing going but it was so cool. Great little place to eat, good to go food, couldn't be happier! !

Consistently the best Italian in the area. Whether you dine in the cute dining room, sit outside enjoying our beautiful weather, or take it home, you can expect your meal to be absolutely perfect. Friendly staff (including Lorenzo) are always welcoming and ready to exceed your expectations.

The pizza was absolutely delicious, toppings were generous. The crust was thin and flavorful. Antipasti salad was superb; great dressing, great presentation. Garlic knots were delicious, oozing with butter and garlic. First time we tried Lorenzo's and certainly won't be the last. We'd love to explore more menu items. The only reason we didn't give it a 5, was because we did take-out only and didn't have the full dining experience.

I have been to Lorenzo ' s many time and I do not normally write reviews but I had to this time because not only is the food alway spectacular but the owner is a card! Awesome chef that takes pride in his cooking as well as his establishment! When I saw the previous reviews from the two ladies that wanted freebies Michelle M and Morgan S. I just had to set the record straight! BEST and I do mean THE BEST Italian food EVER! a place not to be missed and very clean! I hate when people give great little gems like Lorenzo a bad review just to get a freebie!!!

Once in a blue moon (or less) I travel to Fort Pierce for work. It is not something I enjoy. The drive is sometimes too mind numbing. On my last visit, I need food before heading back home (150 miles away) and stumbled across Lorenzo's in downtown Fort Pierce. Quite frankly, I wasn't sure what to expect to find in the area, but I was in the mood for pizza. After walking in and sitting down, the menu seemed rather generic Italian, not necessarily a bad thing, but nothing stood out. When this happens, I tend to stay towards the staples to be a fair judge. The decor was Italian themed. What quickly stood out is how personable and charismatic Lorenzo was. Regular patrons would be greeted by name with their "normal" orders quickly added in. My order was simple. I quickly scanned Yelp for any "hot" dishes and the garlic knot/rolls stood out. Check! When ordering slices, I'm always concerned about ordering too much. Some pizza joints sell massive slices whilst others do "normal" sizes. I overheard someone else ordering two slices for themselves so I safely could guess that the slices were normal sized. It would have been rather awkward ordering two massive slices that surmounted to half a pizza... but it wasn't the case. The garlic knots were dripping with garlic and olive oil, clearly hand made and VERY delicious. The slices were at the same level. There are no hot lamps here. Everything was freshly made to order. Since I was so far from home, I decided to splurge a bit on my dessert. I ordered a cannoli. Once again, a carefully tailored treat. Flavorful and full of sweet goodness. This isn't an establishment that you come to rush to eat. There is nothing wrong with that, for the most part. Fort Pierce isn't as town that is rushing to go places. Lunch time is laid back and everyone is friendly. Considering I am used to prices in "the big city", I was able to get an amazing meal for next to nothing in cost. Bottom Line: I will definitely be visiting again!

Just ate at Lorenzo's and it was AWESOME!!! Would highly recommend! Ordered garlic knots and they were amazing! Was dripping with butter, had lots of big chunks of garlic...dough was soft on inside and crispy on edges. Just tremendous!!! Also had side salad which was a good size and tasty. Then got pizza and ordered with extra crispy crust, sausage and onions. Also tremendous!! This was our first of many visits to come!!!!! Next time will be steak and cheese which someone had ordered and it looked great!

Definitely have the authentic New Yorker personality and I must admit, I like the sass and banter. Some cocky man (Lorenzo himself?) chatted with me while they boxed up my pizza (to go order). Enjoyed my short time there. We had a medium pizza, half pepperoni, half meatball. I've had better crust and sauce but I was very impressed and enjoyed the meatball. The crust isn't paper thin which is a nice change. The sauce had flavor. It was dripping grease (like run down your arm dripping). But i liked the environment and look forward to returning to try there pasta dishes. I'd try their pizza again. I will definitely come back soon!

Dirty Diner... I have had dinner here a few times and food is consistently good. However, this time while finishing up another yummy meal, I saw a roach running across the wall. I told the server and she killed it with the red pepper shaker. Then took away the dead roach and left the shaker and table cloth on the table. When I notified the owner he said that he has this problem because of the neighbor and is taking care of it. Then charged the full bill not comp no anything! I was appalled to say the least. I will never be back and have told my family that loved to eat here too. Just gross!!!

I can't believe it took me so long to try this place! In downtown Fort Pierce, good location. Plenty of street parking plus a garage nearby so don't worry about location or access - both are good. Name is a little misleading as it makes it sound like a sandwich shop but it's really more like a casual Italian restaurant. First tried it because I was at beach condo and wanted pizza but was tired of the mediocre Touch of Brooklyn I'd felt compelled to get out of convenience in the past. I drove over to Lorenzo's and immediately liked the place...about 10-12 tables (maybe more?), cozy, friendly staff, and Lorenzo himself near the front of the kitchen talking to most everyone who came in - several of whom it seemed were regulars because they talked in the way that suggested they knew each other. I looked through the menu and saw what they offered went far beyond pizza but regardless I ordered a Hawaiian. I sat at a table and had a glass of Chianti while I waited. Enjoyed the banter between Lorenzo and some of the seated guests. Took my pie home and immediately appreciated the place all the more when I opened the box...lots of ham and pineapple, crust not paper thin but not too thick either, just enough to support the amount of toppings. Taste was excellent! It was good enough that I froze the leftovers since I was leaving and would not return for about 1 more week but knew I would want it when I returned to condo. Came back to Lorenzo's with wife and friends a week or two later. Ordered another pie plus salad, wine, and one of the dinner specials. During the meal my wife looked at me with a "why haven't we tried this before?" look. Our friends thought everything was great as well and I looked smart for the experience which was another big plus. The only downside is it's rather warm inside the place. Was wondering both times if a/c was broken. Go to Lorenzo's and enjoy the food!

The meatball parm is to die for. Lorenzo's spin on homemade sauce is phenomenal. Manatee-choking-sized portions and friendly service makes me come back again and again!

Very friendly, local, Italian restaurant in downtown in Fort Pierce. Street parking is limited since it neighbors a few other restaurants sharing spaces so you may have to walk a block, but this is a nice area, no worries. Pizza, strombolis, pasta dishes, subs...they have all the usual suspects. Prices are on point with quality and portion size. Service was very good which sold me on returning. Food is being prepared within sight so you know it's fresh. Inside seating holds about 25 people. Just bottles of beer, no taps. Limited wine selection and no liquor. Definitely the best Italian place in Ft Pierce.

The staff was incredibly friendly, the menu was extensive, and the food was amazing. Even the radio station was great. The Garlic knots were, as others have mentioned, to die for. Totally recommend this place. Order less than you think you might want because, as the waitress told us "We've never heard of small here."

This place was recommended to me by a friend. I'm constantly looking for authentic Italian since visiting Italy and very few places live up to my "genuine Italian standards"... But Lorenzo's does! The garlic knots are divine. Fresh garlic, not the powder stuff... Even got some to go. I had the fettucini with vodka sauce. It was amazing; creamy, full of flavor and a healthy serving. I can't wait to make the trip back over to Ft. Pierce to visit Lorenzo's when I'm in the mood for some good Italian ;)

If you want Italian, you go to Lorenzo's. It doesn't matter what you order it is fantastic and lots of it. The servings are HUGE! Each as much as you can and you will be taking stuff home with you. This is a small place place in downtown Fort Pierce, FL with outdoor sitting. The staff is great and you will find Lorenzo himself cooking your food and serving it up. You feel like you're in a real Italian's kitchen. When you walk in you're greeted with that wonderful smells of tomato and garlic. You will get garlic knots with your order that you will not be able to stop eating. Then order any of the salads to start your meal. When it comes to your main meal- good luck in selecting. The menu has so many of your Italian favorites that you will want to order all of them. Don't worry, what ever you pick will be great. Then when you are ready to leave, ask to purchase some of Lorenzo's special secret Italian sauce. Their sauce is home-made daily and I always need to purchase some to end the night. Have never been able to order dessert because we are always full.

Went there with my girlfriend after researching restaurants in the area on my iPad. I had a slice of pizza, which was very good, as an appetizer. The pizza was crispy and had a nice flavor(cheese pizza). They also brought out some garlic rolls before the meal came put. They were excellent and had chunks of real garlic all over the. Really good! I had the mussels marinara and my gf had the spaghetti and meatballs. Both were excellent, especially her dish, and we took some of it back to our hotel.the portions were huge and service was quick. It's a small place and has a mom and pop feel to it. My girlfriend had the house wine and loved it, btw. This is definitely a place we wil be going back to when we are back in the area
